This wonderfully warm and soft V-neck sweater is made from fair trade mohair wool from young goats. This wool has the nice property that it does not itch. The yarn is GOTS certified, washed and dyed in Italy.

The special properties of mohair

Mohair is a versatile, natural fiber that has many characteristics that make it wonderful for all kinds of garments. Not only does mohair have a beautiful shine and fluffy texture, it is also soft, lightweight and durable. Garments made from mohair are very breathable, meaning that they stay cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter. Additionally mohair has antibacterial properties so garments hardly need to be washed; airing them out is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

Alongside all these incredible qualities that make this multifaceted fiber excellent to wear, our mohair is also environmentally conscious. All the mohair is biodegradable and responsibly sourced. This means that, through the whole supply chain, the mohair produced meets certain standards of transparency, animal welfare and environmental responsibility.

 Choose your color and size

You can choose from six colors for this garment: dark blue, light blue, taupe (gray-brown), flowerstem (green) and winterdew (gray-purple). The off-white is the natural color of the mohair goat and not dyed. All yarns of our synthetic colors are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals has been reduced to a minimum.

This sweater falls to the waistband and has a V-neck collar. The length of the sweater in size medium (from the highest shoulder point) is 57 cm. Sleeve length from center back is 80 cm. Chest width in size medium is 50cm.

 Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we will only start producing your item after you have placed your order. The delivery time is 2-4 weeks. But we promise: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.

Women's sweater made of mohair

The Do sweater is a classic V-neck sweater made of soft and light-weight mohair from young goats. Due to mohair’s innate elasticity, the Do will continue to hold its shape over time and is crease-resistant. This semi-fitted sweater doesn’t itch and can be worn directly on skin.

All our products are developed and knitted in our mini factory in Baambrugge.
