The Milo is a men's V-neck Spencer made from 100% merino. This Spencer is great for layering, incredibly soft against the skin and doesn't itch or wrinkle. Most of our merino comes from the Netherlands and is spun and dyed in Italy.

All our products are developed and knitted in our mini factory in Baambrugge.

The special properties of merino wool

Merino is an adaptable natural fiber that comes from the merino sheep. Compared to traditional Dutch wool, merino’s fibers are much thinner and therefore softer. For this reason, merino has many characteristics that make it wonderful for all kinds of garments. Not only is the merino soft but it also doesn’t itch or wrinkle. Garments made from merino are very breathable, meaning that they stay cool in the summer and keep you warm in the winter even when damp. Additionally merino has antibacterial properties so garments hardly need to be washed; airing them out is often more than enough. This way your favorite sweater will last for generations.

Our merino is sustainably sourced from our own merino sheep as well as other Dutch merino farmers. All the merino farmers we source from are vetted by The Knitstable Stable. Additionally all of our merino hasn’t been chemically treated like superwash which preserves the natural look of merino for our garments.

 Choose your color and size

You can choose from four colors for this spencer: dark blue, dark gray, taupe (gray-brown) and sand. The sand has the natural color of the merino wool and is not dyed. All yarns of our synthetic colors are washed and dyed according to the GOTS standard. This means that the amount of harmful chemicals is kept to a minimum.

This Spencer is semi-fit, falls to the waistband and has a V-neck collar. In size medium, the length of the sweater (from the highest shoulder point) is 70 cm and chest width is 48 cm.

 Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we will only start producing your item after you have placed your order. The delivery time is 2-4 weeks. But we promise: it's worth the wait. And the nice thing about this: you can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be made slightly shorter or longer.
