There they are! The typical goat wool sock but made of sheep's wool with alpaca. In the past, people were already knitting socks. People repaired the socks themselves with pieces of leftover yarn, because knitting socks is quite expensive and time-consuming. With the included piece of wool and darning needle you can now repair the socks yourself We have knitted a short and a long version of the Sjors so there is something for everyone!

The special properties of Dutch wool and alpaca

Wool from the traditional Dutch sheep has the characteristic of having a tougher appearance due to its coarser wool fibers. Alpaca wool is light, super soft and strong. Furthermore, merino wool has been added with the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) seal of approval. This is a perfect match! Wool fibers are very elastic and have moisture-regulating properties. The wool sock warms wonderfully and the antibacterial property of wool keeps your feet smelling great. It is best to wash the socks at 30 degrees wool wash in washing machine.

These socks are 3D knitted, which means they are seamless. They have also been washed in a special way after making them which causes the yarn to felt slightly making them even warmer!

 Made to order

We work according to the made-to-order principle. This means that we only start producing your item after your order. We usually knit the socks within a week. You can also indicate your wishes if, for example, you want the item to be a little shorter or longer.
