The special properties of wool

Wool has good moisture absorption, therefore this pillow will never feel clammy. Wool is self-cleaning, so you never have to wash the pillow. Of course, it is good to air the pillow regularly. Wool ventilates very well. These qualities together make wool hypoallergenic.

Maintenance

The wool of Kempisch Heideschaap has enormous resilience, but loses volume over time. You can slow down this process by shaking it up and turning it over daily. Preferably air the pillow in the morning at the open window (not in full sun).

It is possible to order the refill bag should the volume decrease or to get the thickness and height that suits your sleeping position.

The purpose of the pillow is to support your head without straining your neck. Therefore, it is important to know how you sleep. Most of us are mobile sleepers, and do not have a specific sleeping position. The average pillow thickness, 800 grams as offered is ideal.
